If a kitty doesn't let you give them all the love and attention you want to give them, try not to take it to heart! ❤️

I know that's easier said than done, though. 😂

The best thing you can do is be patient and let them do things on their terms. You might not get all the fuss and cuddles you were hoping for today, but give them time and they might just come looking for you next time! 🐱

I've found that patience is ALWAYS the key with kitties. You have to let them decide when they're ready to trust you.

And if you're trying to get a photo of them, good luck! 😂

You have to be a bit sneaky when getting the camera out, otherwise they somehow know EXACTLY what you're up to. Suddenly they stop doing whatever adorable thing they were doing, look straight at you, or disappear altogether!

Honestly, cats! 😹 And that's exactly why we adore them so much.

This was Purdy, my beautiful girl, who is sadly no longer with us. ❤️

She was such a loving, cuddly cat, and apparently she also liked to keep an eye on what was on the telly!

Here she is looking for all the world like she's deciding which programme she wants to watch, with the remote control conveniently sitting right beside her. 😂

I do miss her. ❤️
